Sorry Retail!

And I don’t want it to sound like I have anything against the cashier… No, I have something against their bosses who force them to say those things so that each interaction with the customers is exactly the same and not personal at all. I think if you let the cashier do their own thing it would make for a better experience all around…
I’m sorry if anyone was offended and thought I was attacking cashiers.

My Weekend

I think I drove my weekend away. I put over 300 miles on my car this weekend, and I didn’t even leave town. How bad is that! I filled up friday, and I was already filling my tank up sunday. It all started becuase I have some friends that live out in on the outskirts of town except, they live on opposite sides of town so I drive as far north as possible and then turn around and head south…far south. I don’t think I can afford to keep these friends. Gas is to much!
Other then driving I found that I do have a pet peeve… Retail! I hate shopping retail becuase of having to deal with the retail industry. I went to an electronic store to just buy some video tape. ( I know VHS is old but its all about being retro!) I showed up to the cashier with $100 in 20’s in my hand (I was buying alot of VHS… I’m worried they won’t make it anymore) and yet the cashier still asked me “Would you like to put that on a **** card?” I went off on this employee and started to wave the cash going “why would I want a credit card from your store if I HAVE CASH!” Nothing is makes me more mad then those upsales at stores and those “would you like 10% off your purchase? All you need to do is sign up for this stupid credit card with a really bad interest….” Arg!!!!!!!!!

Last Night and the Morning After
April 16, 2008 at 12:13 pm | In Uncategorized | 1 CommentSo last night I went out with Big Al to a hockey game. It was something else. Hockey is a fast action sport. It was fun! But the team I wanted to win sadly lost… in the first period…
So after hanging out with Al yesterday evening I get dragged into the studio this morning… Twice. First becuase Al wanted to know what I thought of the game. I don’t know what I’m talking about when it comes to sports. So outside of “it was fun” I don’t know what to say, Sorry Al for not knowing what about hockey to talk about, though I did like it when the players were smacking into eachother.
And I’m sorry kellie if I sounded cocky this morning in the studio, I didn’t mean to. But I’m just proud of being a gamer and its just something that I actually know about. And as for all the girls at Primos asking “That Andrew?” “OH Andrew!”… Al stretched the truth there a bit, it was 2 girls… One who Al introduced me to and the other was the hostess who I’ve met before.
Tonight is the night for my date with Kidd…. Yeah….. Ackward….

OMG! Check this out [click here]. I want one! I mean sure I love Apple, but I think I’m more in love with OSx. At $399 thats $100 cheaper then the orginal price of the MacMini. Especially now that the MacMini is $599.

P.S. So ok, Turns out that if I copy a link out of an email for some reason Word Press includes the address from where my email is held. So Stupid. Thanks Outlook! And I’m sorry, I would have thought a microsoft program would understand I want a link, not a URL to my email message that holds the link…
Mix Tape

Now I’m not breaking up with anyone, I was just grabbing songs from my iTunes Library and from the soundtrack from the movie Accross the Universe that I like and threw them into a playlist. I realized that it was a breakup disc late late last night early this morning driving a friend home and she’s singing all the songs and it just hit me like a ton of bricks.
