Big News!
August 4, 2008 at 12:04 pm | In Uncategorized | 3 CommentsTwo big things have gone on in my life in the last 3 days and I felt like blogging about them. I’m sorry I haven’t blogged in a while. To blog its means logging onto my Windows XP machine because my iMac won’t log into the blog service. But I figured this stuff was worth logging in for.
1) I finally got a credit card. I know, 22 and no credit card… But I finally broke down and accepted one of those offers you get in the mail. I always use cash where ever I go and have never had a need for credit. But I couldn’t pass up 0% Interest.
2) I am headed to Venezuela!!! This December I’m headed to Venezuela for Christmas and New Years. I’m very excited about hanging out in Caracas, hitting the beach, and just chilling with my best friend. I’ve never left the country so this is my first time. And I figured why go to Canada or Mexico when I can travel to South America! I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be very careful with the credit card!!! I had one since I was 18 and did fine until I moved into my own apartment. The next thing I knew I had $1,000 on one card and then it went to $2,000 and then my 2nd credit card went to $1,000 and now i have about $5,000 between two cards. Each time I moved to a new place I put stuff on credit until this last move. Now my husband and I are trying to pay off at least one card and minimum payments on the others. It’s a slippery slope.
